Starting Nov. 30th we will be moving next door to 120 W. South Boundary. The new store gives us a lot of added space to bring you tons of great new products. We will now carry a great selection of gift items including Swan Creek candles and reed diffusers, "Bloom" our private label, custom-fragranced botanical bath and body products, and fresh-cut glycerin soaps. With the move, we will also be debuting new, extended hours. Puttin' On The Glitz will be open Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 1-8pm and Saturday and Sunday from 1-5pm. Check our calendar for updated holiday hours.

The idea for Puttin' On The Glitz originated when one of store owner, Joanne Heuss' daughters got engaged. She quickly realized that planning a wedding on a reasonable budget was more difficult than it sounded. Using her established contacts in the jewelry industry, and after attending the National Bridal Show in Chicago, she found that she could get the same high-quality merchandise as the major bridal retailers but for a drastically lower price. Knowing that other mothers and brides-to-be would be as happy as she was to save money while planning the wedding of their dreams, Puttin' On the Glitz opened on June 1, 2008!

Our goal is to provide you the largest selection of high-quality jewelry accessories for the lowest prices. We understand how important it is to be able to have the wedding of your dreams, without breaking the bank. We also promise personal, friendly service. In fact, due to our exceptional service, we were specially selected to carry the new, exclusive line of TRU invitations from Carlson Craft. Being a family-owned business, we treat our customers like family. In fact, we encourage our customers to bring in photos of their special events and add them to our "Wall of Fame".

Puttin' on the Glitz was started as Tender Twists in 1992 in Perrysburg, Ohio. Beginning as a small craft business, they offered whimsical brass charm earrings, necklaces and bracelets. As the demand grew for the jewelry, custom-designed sterling silver and Swarovski crystal jewelry were later added. Keeping up with the trends is something that we strive for, so Swarovski pearls were the next to join the line. The demand and popularity of our jewelry has continued to expand to other markets and our newest addition was bridal jewelry and accessories.

In addition to the new store, you can still find us year-round at numerous arts, crafts, and bridal shows across Michigan and Ohio. Show dates are posted online.
